Olsen was born in March of 1982 in Houston, Texas. Upon graduation from high school in 2000, Olsen moved to Los Angeles to live with an aunt while he pursued his dream of becoming an actor for movies. After three months, Olsen moved back to Houston to prepare to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
